I wrote this poem a long time ago. Nora was really a neighbor of mine. She was weird and all the kids made fun of her; I felt sorry for her and tried to be her friend, but she was so "out there." There was a reason why.

Nobody Likes Nora
by M.J. Lineberry

Nobody likes Nora
because she acts so weird.
The other day she peed in class
Even though she's twelve.
The kids laughed and threw things at her
and when they called her names, she cried.
The teacher yelled at her
"Why didn't you ask to go!"
Nora shrugged and looked at the floor
"Please don't send me home," she whispered
"My father is there, waiting for me."
